Central European Initiative, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, CJSC “Belvneshenergo” would like to welcome you to join us for the seminar.

The theme of the seminar is “Modern technologies of traditional and renewable energy and mechanisms of investment projects’ financing”.

We are hoping that many of those who are interested in the theme will attend this seminar and that we will be able to have an interesting session.

• Belarusian organs of government, the directors and specialists of the organizations working in the field, scientists and specialists of the leading institutes, representatives of CEI countries and ЕEC UN representatives, working in the field of renewable and nontraditional energy, mass media will be invited to the seminar to discuss issues at the chosen field.

• The seminar is focused on explanation and advancement of modern technologies and mechanisms of investment projects’ financing in the field of traditional and renewable energy and also on the development of recommendations on the removal of the barriers and lowering the risks of investing with the purpose of attraction new technologies and investments in the field of traditional energy and introduction of renewable sources of energy.

• The aims of the seminar are dissemination of information, experience exchange, establishment of mutual beneficial relationships, initiation of investment projects in the field of energy efficient technologies and renewable sources of energy and attraction of investments in these fields.

• Intended date and place of implementation: June, 4 – 5, 2007, Minsk, Belarus.

• Additional information: Languages of the seminar- Russian and English. The seminar includes simultaneous translation.
